Cargill’s Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) is made up of nine members and its function is to monitor and evaluate, on a global level, alignment of the business with established policies, commitment to social responsibility and respect for the environment, as well as discussing investments. It is, therefore, the company’s main decision-making body. Each year, a Corporate Governance Committee assesses the guidelines on which CLT decisions are based and passes its recommendations on to the Team.

Cargill maintains a regional board in each of the continents and countries where it operates. Seven platforms and 75 Business Units are also established and follow global guidelines while also considering the local scenario for the development of actions. The Business Units report to their respective global Business Platforms.

In order to consolidate its relationship with stakeholders and for greater transparency in the way it does business, Cargill publishes its Annual Report wherein it describes the main corporate achievements, social-environmental balance sheet, along with the Financial Statements audited by KPMG Independent Auditors. The company also discloses its Balance Sheet and Management Report in major national newspapers and in the oficial gazette "Diário Oficial do Estado de São Paulo". The publications are mailed to interested parties and are also available for download from the company’s website in Brazil (www.cargill.com.br) and from its corporate portal (www.cargill.com). The internet page enables contact by e-mail with the company’s various departments.
