The company has operations in Brazil, established in 1965, with headquarters in São Paulo. In 2009 it posted net revenue of R$ 15.8 billion. Agribusiness – – Origination, processing, operation of purchase, sale and distribution of grains, oilseeds and other commodities. Cargill also provides products and services to farmers.

Food – Collaborates with food and beverage manufacturers, food service companies and retailers by providing high quality products and healthful ingredients.

Financial – Provides solutions to customers in agriculture, food products, financial and risk management segments in global markets.

Industrial – Produces vegetable oils and lubricants, regular and modified starches, dextrin and adhesives for various industrial segments. Cargill also trades in ironore and ethanol.
